O, Come Let Us Adore Him

This week at Joan's Gardens, I get to use some dies I recently got from her. It is a gorgeous gothic church window using two dies that go together. I figure a Christmas card is a great opportunity to use these dies.

These are Joan's guidelines:
  • Use Ribbon
  • Use Corners
  • Anything to Do with Christmas
  • Use a product sold at Joan's Gardens
  • Mention that the card is for Joan's challenge

Starting with white cardstock, a red piece was glued on top of that; then, after running a green piece through an EF, it was attached with dimensional stickies. The window is cut from sparkly gold paper; the ironwork inset is cut from black paper, and the background piece is from some multicolored sparkly cardstock. It was somewhat pastel in its hues, so I used markers to make the colors more vivid. All three layers of the window are assembled, then attached with dimensional stickies. The sentiment is backed with green paper and put on with dimensional stickies, as well. Double layers of holly are used as the corner embellishment, and a red bow at the bottom of the window finishes the card.

Here is a picture:

These are the tools used to make the card:

Paper Studio:  A2 Curl Ribbon EF
Poppy Stamps:  Grand Gothic Window, Grand Gothic Ironwork
Martha Stewart:  Holly Punch
SU Markers

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT
