Wise Men Still Seek Him

I got this great stamp at a gift exchange last year that says, "Wise men still seek Him."  How wonderfully true. So for a long time I have wanted to use it, but needed just the right setting for it. Today I made this card that I think makes sense with the content and the sentiment.

Starting out with white cardstock, a blue layer was added on top of it. Next, a darker blue paper was run through and EF that made a curvy frame. The wise men and star were added with embossing powder and my handy heat tool. I tried making the sentiment in gold embossing powder, but it was not heavy enough, and the text was very illegible. So it is stamped in blue ink on white paper which is framed from the same lighter blue paper glued to the white base. The elements are elevated with pop dots for added eye appeal. Lastly, a gold ribbon is added to add more sparkle.

Here is the card:

This card is like another Christmas card I made using Microsoft Publisher for some of the other features of the card. On the inside top is the story of the wise men:

On the inside bottom is a stamped sentiment:

And on the back of the card is another scripture and my "made by" signature:

Here are the tools used to make the card:

Poly Clear Hero Arts:    CL625
Paper Studio:  A2 Bracket Frame Embossing Folder
Zing:  Gold Embossing Powder
Gold Ribbon

Romans 10:9-11
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT
